1. Movement
   Personal space: Involves immediate area surrounding the body.
   General space: Limited by the floor, wall, or ceiling.
   There are 3 levels: Standing upright/high level, Middle level, Low level
   Sample activity: Pose questions and challenges e.g Imagine you are in a bubble, move around in the bubble.
2. Shape
   Relates to various body parts.
   Sample activity: Mirror game
3. Time
   Relates to how slowly or quickly a movement is performed.
   Sample activity: Crawl like a turtle
4. Force
   Relates to how strongly or lightly a movement is performed.
   Sample activity: Float like a feather.
5. Flow
   Free flow(uninterrupted): e.g. Eagle soaring in the sky
   Bound flow(punctuated or halting): e.g. Hop-hop-stop. hop-hop-stop
6. Rhythm
   Associates with elelment of time.
   Sample activity: Say name out loud and clap by following the syllable.

Semester 3 is coming this Sunday, 26th Oct 2006.

No idea what sort of subject we are going to take. Only will know by then.

Result would be out in 2 weeks time I guess…

That’s all for the time being

It’s been a long time not updating this blog ;p I’m just so lazy. Besides, second semester ends already. Tomorrow and Sunday will be exam days!

I don’t feel anything at all. So relax! This is so weird. Maybe I’m well prepared already? Hmm… Nevermind about that, done the two papers these two days and I’m off to my almost one week holiday before new semester starts.

No idea when I should go and enroll myself yet. No notice or anything.

WOW! Time sure flies.

Semester 2 is ending really soon! Exam will be on 11th & 12th October. Very fast eh? One semester is only 7 weeks. It’s like just started not too long ago and then now it’s going to end.

Done both assignments, passed up one and need to pass up another one this Sunday. In the process of preparing for exams.

The result is out but I haven’t go get it Hahaha… I’m not even feeling nervous or panick about it. Wonder why? Last week, we were told that 9 persons failed the exam, everyone in the class was so worried. Hmm… I don’t think I’m one of them. *cross my fingers* Will go collect it this Saturday.

Assignments not given yet… When will it be given?

Ever since the first term, this college had messed with not only my payments but also my subjects. Good thing this time I haven’t buy the textbooks.

During my first term, they changed one of the subjects and I had bought the textbook. Now the textbook is lying there doing nothing. By the time the subject is offered again, don’t tell me they are going to change the textbook! Which means I spent the previous money for textbook I don’t need!

This term, it’s supposed to be Music & Drama for Young Children and Play & Learning. I just got their notification that it’s going to be Music & Drama for Young Children and Health, Safety & Nutrition.

I’m glad I didn’t get my textbook yet. Phew…

I’m sure Music & Drama for Young Children should be very interesting but I hope it doesn’t involve musical notes and those technical musical things as I can never understand those *LOL*

As for Health, Safety & Nutrition, this will require lots of fact memorising! Feels like going back to secondary school science and home science subjects.

Finally, two papers down! End of semester one. We are now having one week semester break.

Next semester would be studying Play & Learning and Music & Drama for Young Children.

I wonder when we will be able to study the Foundation of Early Childhood Education and Observation & Assessment of Young Children?

Taking a break for the time being, nothing much to update. Exam will be coming on 2nd and 3rd of August, after that there’ll be a short break before the next semester begins. Might have random update if I have something.

Till then, it’s time to prepare for exam and make final adjustments to the second assignment of Mathematics for Young Children before passing it up on the coming Saturday.

Tomorrow is supposed to be Observation of Young Children but I just got a SMS telling me that they would change the class tomorrow to Mathematics for Young Children. I bought the textbook for the former and now it’s useless but they told me it will be usable for next semester. I hope they don’t change the version by then and request us to buy new textbook again. I don’t think this will happen at all.

I asked them whether I need to buy new textbook, they said no textbook yet. The lecturer would be printing out notes to us but sooner or later, we will have to buy textbook.

Anyway… It’s Mathematics for Young Children tomorrow and I’m expecting simple Math and how to teach children Maths. This subject shouldn’t be so hard. Who doesn’t know 1+1? Hahaha… We’ll see how it goes to tomorrow.
